Odor Removal

We recently started using an electric thermal fogger to remove odors in your cars interior. We have had great success using this system.

The Thermal Fogger heats up the odor counteractant to an internal temperature of 450 to 500 degrees. This produces a "dry fog" that will permeate every square inch of your vehicle's interior. We fog through the air conditioning system to make sure all offending odors are removed.

One of the most common odors in cars is cigar and cigarette smoke. The smoke odor gets into every part of the interior. It goes through the air conditioning system and ends up in the headliner, the upholstery, everywhere! After a while the odor can't even be removed by cleaning.

The fogger is able to chase the odor with dry fog and eliminate it for good. Deodorants simply cover odors up and will not last.

Another odor that is common in cars is body odor. The oils from our skin and our sweat, along with our colognes and perfumes, will enter fabric and carpeting in the car and cause a distinct odor. As with tobacco, if these odors are allowed to build up, they might not be able to be removed with just a cleaning.

Some odors are just stubborn!

Some vehicles might need a little special attention. In the case of spilled milk, or spoiled food, or any other protein based odor, we have a great protein odor eliminator. If needed, we can inject the protein odor eliminator into your upholstery or into the carpet padding to totally eliminate the bacteria.

These odors are caused by living bacteria that will not be killed by simply shampooing or using a deodorizer. They have to be attacked with bacteria destroying chemicals. The thermal fogger does a great job of getting the odor eliminator where it needs to go.

We also have another odor eliminator that we would use for things like vomit, urine, and other pet smells. These odor destroying chemicals can also be injected into your upholstery or into the carpet padding to make sure the source of odor is totally eliminated.

So what do I do next?

Of course, this would be a great time to have your fabric and carpet deep cleaned using our special heated extractor. This will remove all ground in dirt and grime and leave your interior looking and smelling great.
